2 injured following crash in Monkton, Vermont
Two teenagers were injured following a crash in Monkton on Friday.Vermont State Police said the driver and their passenger, both 16, were driving south on Boro Hill Road just after 2 a.m. when they lost control of their Subaru on a gravel shoulder after rounding a corner.The vehicle rolled down a steep embankment and came to rest, flipped over on its passenger side against two trees. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.Both people were transported to Porter Medical Center for treatment of suspected moderate injuries. The vehicle was totaled in the crash, police said.
