AND NEW THIS YEAR FOR CONTESTANTS ENTERING THEIR BIKES.. A SPECIAL CATEGORY CELEBRATING 45 YEARS OF THE B-M-W G-S. <YOU KNOW, BEST TO SHOW IS PRETTY EXCITING. THERE'S OVER 200 MOTORCYCLES ON DISPLAY TOMORROW, AND WHEN THE JUDGES PICK, BEST TO SHOW. THAT'S THAT'S A PRETTY COOL MOMENT. BUT ALSO SITTING DOWN WITH LEGENDS OF THE SPORT. WE'VE GOT, YOU KNOW, GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONS HERE, MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONS HERE. A LOT OF BIG NAMES IN THE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY ARE HERE. AND IT'S FUN JUST TO MIX WITH THEM. THEY'RE JUST PEOPLE, YOU KNOW? Quail Motofest revs up in Carmel with motorcycles and family fun
The 15th annual Quail Motofest motorcycle and car gathering will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Quail Lodge in Carmel, showcasing motorcycles from several companies, local food trucks, and family-friendly activities."Best to show is pretty exciting. There's over 200 motorcycles on display tomorrow, and when the judges pick, best to show. That's a pretty cool moment. But also sitting down with legends of the sport. We've got Grand Prix champions here, motocross champions. A lot of big names in the motorcycle industry are here. And it's fun just to mix with them. They're just people. They're just riders also," said Gordon McCall, director of motorsports for The Quail. The event will feature a special category celebrating 45 years of the BMW GS for contestants entering their bikes. The next series of Quail events, the Quail Rally and the Quail Motorsports Gathering, will take place in August. Tickets for tomorrow's event are still on sale.
